Shireland CBSO Academy Sixth Form will be exhibiting at the Connexions Sandwell New Year New Start Careers Fair on Saturday 24 January 2026 from 9:30am-2:00pm at The Hawthorns, West Bromwich, B71 4LF.
This free event offers young people aged 14-25 the chance to explore a wide range of education and career pathways. With over 50 exhibitors, including colleges, universities, apprenticeship providers, and leading employers, attendees can gain valuable insights to help shape their futures.
Based in West Bromwich, Shireland CBSO Academy offers a distinctive educational experience that combines academic and creative excellence with exceptional opportunities to develop musical talent. The Academy provides a wide range of A level and vocational courses. Students also benefit from professional masterclasses, workshops, and performance opportunities, allowing students to thrive in a dynamic, creative community focused on achievement.

In addition, collaboration with Laney Amplification, a leader in British guitar and bass amplification, allows students to gain hands-on experience in music technology. This includes workshops and masterclasses with Laney experts, work experience, mentoring and guidance to prepare students for successful careers in the music industry.
