Shireland CBSO Academy Sixth Form will be showcasing at the Connexions Expo Careers Fair, a free event for young people aged 14-25 offering a valuable platform to explore future education and training opportunities. The event will feature a range of exhibitors including employers, apprenticeship providers, colleges and universities.
The careers fair will take place on Saturday 13 July 2024 from 12.00pm-4.00pm at Sandwell Valley Park, Salter’s Lane, West Bromwich, B71 4BG.
Located in West Bromwich, Shireland CBSO Academy is the first state school in Britain established in partnership with a national orchestra. Working with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Academy provides students with a unique educational experience that combines the best of creativity and academics, alongside opportunities to pursue musical excellence.
The Academy’s sixth form offers an unrivalled experience for students, with a range of A level and BTEC qualifications delivered by expert teachers, supported by exciting enrichment opportunities and strong pastoral support. This includes free music tuition and grading, which is available to all students regardless of whether they choose to study music at A level or BTEC.
